WHITE TAIL (COUES) DEER

 

The hunt is on the Mountains of eastern Sonora State, where their is good elevation making the perfect habitat for the outstanding coues deer,we count with 120'000.00 acres for this activity having nothing less on the quality than a 100 green score .

The 30 to 50°F temperatures suit this species of white tail deer. The hunt is done on one-on-one basis and can be on horseback, walking or driving. Lunch is at mid-day in the field or at camp. Hunting continues until sundown, then back to camp for clean up and a nice dinner.

The average shooting range is 200 yards , this is and attractive addition to the desert mule deer hunt.

Length of hunt: 6 nights, 5 days of effective hunt

Basic Inclusions: transportation from Hermosillo to hunting areas and back to Hermosillo ; one-on-one guide and field care of the trophy, all meals and open bar.

Clothing: Lightweight khaki or camo colored (two complete changes of clothes); down vest or jacket; raincoat/poncho; light gloves; hat, cotton socks and a pair of comfortable, light, walking shoes.

Equipment: binoculars, flashlight, knife, day use pack sack (no frames), camera and film, one extra duffle bag (for capes and horns).
